Global GC can work directly with our clients in their own offices and with their own teams, or remotely. Likewise, we can take other steps to be an integral part of our client’s internal team (e.g., having a client e-mail address, having an internal phone extension, etc.). We can also work alongside our clients’ traditional law firms, as appropriate and necessary to achieve the right mix of substantive expertise and cost-effectiveness.

In short, our flexibility concerning logistics allows us to develop the same type of internal relationships and deep knowledge of our clients’ businesses that their own in-house attorneys possess. This promotes cost-effectiveness, efficiency and good corporate governance.

Regardless of the logistics, we prefer a long term relationship that promotes the ability to provide practical and timely legal advice to our clients, at a cost that is both reasonable and certain.

Fee Mechanisms

Global GC is flexible to work with clients on an hourly basis, on a project basis or on a full or part-time ongoing basis. For instance, for clients requiring Global GC to act as its outsourced in-house counsel, we typically agree on a mutually agreeable weekly, monthly or annual rate. We are also open to other fee arrangements.

Because we do not have expensive office space, artwork and similar non-essential expenses, our rates are usually a small fraction (i.e., one-third or even less) of hiring an outside law firm or full-time General Counsel for the same level of legal expertise.

Whatever the fee mechanism, our clients pay a fraction of the typical market rate for top-notch legal expertise, and they have cost-certainty on a monthly, annual and/or project basis.
